Officially announced two weeks ago, Motorola Triumph might hit shelves at Virgin Mobile a bit under a month from now.

According to the guys over at Phandroid, via tipster, if nothing bad happens the Triumph should be out on the market on July 19.

Although this is just a rumor, it seems to confirm Virgin Mobile's initial statement that the Motorola Triumph will be released some time in July.

As this is the first Motorola smartphone to be launched by Sprint's owned brand Virgin Mobile, the Triumph is expected to be sold fast and in high quantities.

Motorola Triumph runs Google's Android 2.2 (Froyo) platform, but lacks the (in)famous MOTOBLUR user-interface, which seem to raise the phone's desirability.

Given the fact that most users that previously owned Motorola smartphones with MOTOBLUR UI on-board are not happy about it, Virgin Mobile made a smart choice when deciding against including the UI within the Triumph's firmware.

The device comes with a large 4.1-inches capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors support and 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

As most Android devices, the Triumph features touch sensitive controls, multi-touch input method, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and proximity sensor for auto turn-off.

Equipped with a single core Qualcomm MSM8655 Snapdragon processor clocked at 1 GHz speed and complemented by an Adreno 205 GPU (graphics processing unit), Motorola Triumph in one of the most powerful devices from Virgin Mobile's portfolio of Android smartphones.

The Triumph is delivered with Rev. A (up to 3.1 Mbps) and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, but also provides users with additional connectivity options such as Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and GPS with A-GPS support.

Motorola Triumph sports an average 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording capabilities (720p@30fps), as well as secondary VGA front-facing camera.

It also packs 512 MB RAM, 2 GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
