Gaming companies usually announce their games in the middle of the development process, but they usually reserve the month before it is completed for some surprise details, which only serve to increase the hype around said titles and make gamers interested in either pre-ordering or saving up money for when they will hit the store shelves.

Now it seems that the surprises that big gaming corporations Activision and Electronic Arts have prepared for the summer season have been spoiled by a GoNintendo reader who supposedly got hold of the release schedule from the two companies, which details some very interesting titles or information about games that were already announced.

Among the biggest pieces of news is that rock-themed Brutal Legend will also be heading to the Wii, besides the already announced PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, and that the highly speculated DJ Hero title will probably be out in July, complete with a peripheral that has three buttons, a turntable and a fader in order for the players to feel like real-life DJs.

Furthermore, Activision will release a new Guitar Hero track pack around the holiday season, and we can also expect a new Lego Indiana Jones title, the second in the series, at about the same time. Star Wars fans will also get a special treat, as a Star Wars: Battlefront III game is also in the works, but probably won't appear until early 2010.

While the two big companies made no statements regarding these rumors, this still gives a lot of gamers hope that some of their anticipated titles will arrive in the following months of this year. Hopefully we will get to see some official announcements from either Activision or EA in order to be sure of these rumors.
