14 DAY TRIAL // The Willis girls have become the staunchest supporters for the campaign to uphold the beauty of the female body and to boycott censoring it in the media, particularly when it comes to natural acts such as breastfeeding.
Although Rumer didn't have the courage her younger sister had some time ago when she posed without her top on as she walked around Manhattan, just to boycott Instagram for taking down her account due to some controversial photos, she did show her support for the campaign by wearing a very interesting shirt.
Fans will recognize it as a three-breasted shirt, emulating the famous scene from the sci-fi movie “Total Recall.” It had drawn on it pretty much an identical rendition of the famous chest as could be seen in the movie, except it was in black and white, which only managed to add more realism to the item of clothing.
Many people who saw her attending the event that took place at the Skybar in West Hollywood had to do a double take just to make sure they were seeing correctly. It's safe to say this is exactly the effect Rumer was hoping, as the model and actress made sure everyone got a look by holding back the sides of her coat.
The entire campaign was sparked by women who were offended that certain bits of their anatomy systematically got censored in the media, something they considered immoral and demeaning to women. That's why they now have protests where they take their shirts and bras off, claiming it to be as natural as men going shirtless.
Most of the other woman who attended the party chose to wear transparent tops with no bras, revealing to the photographers' lens that which is usually hidden to the naked eye.
Rumer was the only one who decided to have a funny yet revealing take on the idea that the woman's body is something that doesn't need censorship, but she managed to do it without giving away any of the goods.
The matter of whether or not women's chests are something that needs to be censored in photos and clips in the media remains highly debatable, as there are even some women out there who consider that these bits of the female anatomy shouldn't be exposed.
However, an increasing number of women contradict that old view, demanding equality with men. The Willis sisters are among them, and they're willing to go all the way to prove their point.
