When hearing of steel and Teflon, one would usually think about a frying pan or a special kind of grill used to fry meat or bake pancakes in the morning. Rude Gamerware, on the other hand, seems to think that there are actually more uses for Teflon than just cooking. As such, it took the liberty of using this material when it made the Fierce Teflon & Steel Mouse Surface. Essentially, this product is a mouse pad like no other.

Most consumers don't really make a point of having fancy mouse pads. Gamers, on the other hand, are often quite interesting in a surface that lets the mouse slide faster, since it usually helps them perform better in real-time games, such as shooters or RTS titles. A smoother surface also means less fatigue. Rude Gamerware, naturally, took this aspect into account, but it also decided to add the ruggedness factor to the mix.

To be more specific, the Fierce Teflon & Steel Mouse Surface is so durable that it can be used as a frying pan if one really wants to be creative. It is made of a solid steel core, coated with the Teflon material from Dupont. Basically, it should be, more or less, indestructible and, obviously, scratch resistant. Also, in order to ensure that its smoothness doesn't backfire, it is mounted on top of a non-slip rubberized base. Said base will have to be removed when cooking of course.

The Fierce Teflon & Steel Mouse Surface is practically guaranteed to outlive most every other part of one's PC, which means it will act as a base for one's current mouse as well as the generations that will follow. Orders can already be placed through the official company website, for roughly $30. Extra Teflon is included in the package.
