She’s yet to prove her worth to the world as an actress, but that’s not stopping Victoria’s Secret Angel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley from dreaming big: if she’s to choose a role model for her acting career, she wants it to be Angelina Jolie.

Rosie, as fans must already know, is the latest star in the “Transformers” franchise, coming to replace Megan Fox in the upcoming “The Dark of the Moon.”

She and director Michael Bay met when he directed a commercial for Victoria’s Secret and he was so impressed with her acting and good looks that he gave her a call when Fox was dropped from the franchise.

Now, Rosie is out to prove to the world that she can do acting as well – and she dreams of a career like Jolie’s, she says in an interview with GQ UK.

“Would I like even a sniff of Angelina Jolie’s career?” Rosie asks. “Yes. Do I think I have a future in this business? I certainly hope so. And I’m going to work damn hard to make sure I do,” she says.

She knows that she’s just gotten started and that she still has to prove herself.

“I’m not standing here and saying I’m an amazing actress or that I’ve had a heap of thespie training. But you’re damned if you do and you’re damned if you don’t,” Rosie explains.

In the same interview with GQ UK, the model slash actress also spoke about being bullied in high school for her signature lips and skinny model body, as we also informed you yesterday.

She also recalled striking gold unexpectedly at 17, when she walked into a modeling agency and was told she actually stood a chance of building a career in the industry.

“Transformers: The Dark of the Moon” is out in US theaters on June 29, 2011. The world will see then whether Rosie has what it takes to be more than a model – a good actress as well.
