Rosewill has just announced it has expanded its line of computer cases with the introduction of the Ranger mid-tower chassis specially designed to offer gamers and modders a low-cost, but feature rich solution, for housing their hardware.

Just like pretty much all the computer cases that were released in the last couple of years, the Ranger features an inverted design which places the power supply unit at the bottom of the case.

This approach should improve the airflow inside the chassis and users also have the option of installing as many as seven cooling fans to keep the temperatures of the hardware houses inside the Ranger low.

Only three fans come pre-fitted, one front 120mm fan with red LED illumination, one rear 120mm fan and a top 140mm fan, while two other 120mm fans can be installed in the side panel, one in the top panel, and one in the bottom near the PSU.

Outside of providing the Ranger with enhanced cooling capabilities, Rosewill also worked on providing its creation with advances expansion options and the case features four internal 3.5-inch drive bays, as well as three external 5.25-inch and one 3.5-inch bays.

Sadly, there's no mention of any adapters for mounting 2.5-inch drives, so users wanting to include an SSD in their system will have to purchase such an accessory separately.

Other features include a side panel window, a series of cable routing holes, a back-tray cutout for swapping the CPU cooler, and a fire-red interior paintjob.

On the front panel, Roewill has placed a series of I/O connectors, including two USB 3.0 ports and an eSATA port.

Pricing for the Ranger has been set at $79.99 (about 59 Euros) and the case is available for purchase as we speak from various on-line and off-line retailers. Newegg is even running a promotion on the case and sells it for $69.99 plus shipping.
