Canadian mobile phone users will soon be able to benefit from a nice range of appealing devices that can connect to Rogers' LTE network, with HTC's Puccini tablet being one of them, some of the latest reports on the matter suggest.

The wireless carrier already went official with plans to bring to the market LTE-enabled devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone or the LTE Rocket mobile hotspot (Sierra Wireless AirCard 754S), yet it seems that more such products are to land on its shelves soon.

The company also announced at the time that it will release a Rogers LTE Rocket stick (already available in Ottawa) and a previously announced HTC Smartphone, as well as a “LTE Tablet from a leading manufacturer,” which appears to be none other than the HTC Puccini.

The device was just made available for purchase in the United States with support for AT&T's LTE network, and it would make perfect sense for it to arrive on shelves at Rogers in Canada as well, that's for sure.

The tablet PC was just listed in the upcoming Rogers on Demand tablet app doc as the HTC Puccini LTE, suggesting that this might be the actual name it would sport when made available for purchase.

The device should hit the market with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display (1280 x 768 pixels resolution), and with a dual-core 1.5Ghz Snapdragon application processor packed inside, with Adreno graphics for a great viewing experience on the go.

The tablet PC is also expected to hit the market with 32GB of internal storage, as well as with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for HD video recording, complemented by a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera with support for video calling.

For the time being, however, specific info on when the device isreleased did not emerge, nor on the price tag it might feature on Rogers' airwaves. However, we should note that it goes for $849 outright at AT&T. (via)
