Canadian carrier Rogers and Trellia Networks, a well-known provider of mobile device management solutions, have just announced the upcoming availability of a new billing solution for business and government customers.

The new solution is fully compatible with iOS devices, including iPhone and iPad, Android smartphones and tablets, as well as notebooks.

Trellia Networks' mobile device management solution offers business and government customers simplified billing from Rogers.

In this regard, business customers who want to take advantage of the Tellia's MDM solution have to pay $3.50 per device. The amount will be visible on each customer's Rogers bill.

Furthermore, the carrier announced that it will offer Rogers business customers across Canada consolidated billing for Trellia Networks' range of mobile device management solutions, in addition to its products and services.

We have worked closely with Rogers over the past year to help our common customers adopt consumer devices such as iPads and iPhones,” said Giovanni Forte, CEO of Trellia Networks.

Under agreement, the carrier will be billing business, government and municipal customers using Trellia Networks' solutions via the company's enterprise sales channels.

Rogers' move is meant to help business customers securely manage their iOS, Android or Windows Phone devices via Trellia’s MDM solution.

Some of the highlights of the mobile device solution include: remote configuration management, policy enforcement, international roaming control and application management.

Through this relationship, Rogers will bring additional value to their customers by offering Trellia’s best-in-class MDM solution through their channels, to enable iOS, Android and Windows systems in the enterprise. For the first time, customers will be able to acquire a comprehensive, MDM cloud-based software solution from a single source – Rogers,” concluded Forte.

Customers interested to benefit from Trellia's MDM solution can check out several demoes that will be featured at the Rogers Technology Showcase series in Ottawa (September 7), Toronto (September 8), Vancouver (September 16), Calgary (September 20), Edmonton (September 22), Winnipeg (October 5) and Montreal (October 13).
