This week brings quality games for arcade addicts, no matter if they are Xbox 360 or Nintendo Wii fanboys - so shake hands, it's time for peace and enjoyable moments. If you are part of the "opposite faction", try checking this week's arcade releases for the other console, too, and you might be really surprised. It's time to open our eyes and change the survey results saying that only 3% of Americans own multiple gaming consoles.

We'll start with the Xbox Live Arcade releases this week, expected to hit the consoles tomorrow - two new titles, to be more specific. The first is Rocky and Bullwinkle, based on the popular cartoon series of the 60s. The game comes with eight playable characters, five difficulty settings and support for up to 12 players in local hot seat mode. And there will be a burning seat probably, since Rocky and Bullwinkle comes with more than 100 micro games, exclusively for the Xbox 360, for 800 MS points, or $10.

Another classic that's going to hit Xbox Live is Atari's Battlezone, which adds exciting new multiplayer modes for up to two players both locally and over Xbox LIVE, including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag. Also, new special effects for weapon firing, impacts and explosions have been implemented, as well as the option to challenge opponents using the Vision Cam. Battlezone will be available worldwide for 400 MS points ($5).

The Nintendo Wii rises to Microsoft's challenge of releasing quality games, and comes with two titles that will please both the fans and the new players. First, Fantasy Zone, the Sega Master System classic allows you to command once again the Opa Opa spaceship and blast your way through the various levels. Everything for you alone or, for a better gaming experience, together with a friend - for only 500 Wii Points ($5).

Mega Turrican, the classic Sega Genesis game allows you to destroy the evil forces of the Machine that have devastated the galaxy - everything through 15 levels of chaos and destruction. The game is recommended for everyone 10 and older and it will cost you 800 Wii Points ($8).

So, here are four classic arcade titles for you to enjoy this week - it's up to you to decide which console has the best offer or just listen to our advice and try them all.
