It looks like “gaming” and “entry-level” aren't totally mutually exclusive

People thinking that gaming hardware is the same as high-end hardware are usually right, but Roccat decided to make an exception.

And by exception, we meant a piece of gaming hardware for people that want something good-looking but not as expensive as a car.

The product is a mouse, named Lua. It has an ambidextrous design, a black color (with the Roccat logo in blue) and a Pro Optic R2 sensor, with a maximum tracking resolution of 2,000 DPI (a switch can change the resolution to as low as 250).

The company hasn't started shipping the device yet, but it did release some pictures of it. They show the scroll wheel (with locking incremental steps instead of smooth turning) albeit not the special, highly-durable Omron switches behind the two mouse buttons.

The MSRP of the Roccat Lua will be €29.99 / $37 when sales start in July.
