Superheroes and giant robots seem to be the rave right now, to the point where new theme parks are being opened.

In fact, a robot-themed amusement park is being built in South Korea as we speak. Or write.

Truth be told, the park Robot Land was supposed to be ready for opening back in 2012.

That didn't happen, however, even though the South Korean government had been building on the idea since 2007.

Still, ground was broken for the 300-acre park last year, so now things are underway again. The cancellation of the plans back in 2012 has proven to not be a cancellation at all in the end.

The park will be located in the City of Incheon (northwestern South Korea) and will also be a research park for education and innovation in robotics.

So, you'll not just get to have fun with robot mascots, but also actual robots, and you may even contribute to the advancement of robotics as a whole if you go and pay for even a day of fun.
