Robin Thicke still can't get over his wife's divorce, cancels another concert

It was just announced that Robin Thicke has canceled yet another performance this week, after it was announced that he and wife Paula Patton were getting a divorce after nine years of marriage. Apparently, the news has hit him harder than anyone might have suspected, as the singer fails to make his scheduled appearances.

The couple made the announcement earlier this week, claiming that is was a mutual decision and sounding that they would remain the best of friends, despite the fact that their marriage was plagued with rumors of infidelity on Robin's part.

Now it looks like Robin is regretting his womanizing ways, as he cancels yet another performance to his fans' dismay. An official statement from the venue supposed to house the event claims, according to the Mirror that “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Robin Thicke will postpone his performance at Harrah's Cherokee originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 25. This concert will be rescheduled and the new date announced as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience.”

Previously, Thicke also bailed on two other performances, on Friday in Atlanta and on Saturday in Orlando, putting it all down to vocal issues, but it was clear as day for everyone the real reason why he failed to appear on stage.

He chose to fly off to Vancouver, where Paula was busy filming for her latest project, reportedly in a desperate attempt to save his already endangered marriage.

It remains to be seen if Thicke manages to pull himself together until his next performance, which is scheduled for this Thursday, February 27, and is billed to take place at the GMU Patriot Centre in Washington D.C.

It was revealed by inside sources that Miley Cyrus had been at the core of their problems, since her VMA performance with Thicke is said to have deeply disturbed Paula, who had already been upset by his cheating scandal.

Tired of all his indiscretions, Paula reportedly wanted to sever all ties sooner, but a desperate Thicke begged to give him more time in order to save appearances during the award ceremonies. Thus, by the time they appeared as a happy couple at the Grammy Awards, the two had already been separated.

The news of the split didn't shock anyone, but it did manage to end a marriage that went back 9 years, and a friendship that went back even longer, an astounding 22 years.
