14 DAY TRIAL // Despite repeated denials that there’s nothing more between them than just a warm friendship, “Twilight” actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, currently in Vancouver working on “New Moon,” have been recently spotted holding hands at a local supermarket. According to Ted Casablanca from E! Online, the two stars were acting very lover-like on their outing, which might confirm early reports that they are, indeed, an item.
“Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, getting PG frisky up in Vancouver. That’s what any girl does who supposedly still has a boyfriend, right? The costars were grocery shopping over the weekend when a fellow shopper noticed the duo ‘holding hands’ as they walked around inside.” Casablanca writes, citing an unnamed eyewitness who saw the two together. Unfortunately, no pictures were taken on the occasion, so there is no form of confirmation of this rumor at this point.
Moreover, Casablanca says, Robert and Kristen even took some time to giggle childishly at US tabloids with their faces on the cover. However, the moment Pattinson noticed that people in the supermarket realized they knew who he was, he “quickly turned incognito” and they “all of a sudden kept their hands to themselves,” Casablanca says. Such a behavior would be understandable if the rumor was accurate because Kirsten is currently dating “Will & Grace” star Michael Angarano, it has been pointed out.
Another theory that is currently making the rounds regarding the so-called couple is that Summit could be the one that is actually putting the rumors out there to keep the hype for the film going strong. Apparently, when Angarano visited Stewart on the set a couple of days ago, someone from the movie studio told her that she would best keep her personal life personal by not inviting him on set – a request that is not customary, unless there is another agenda at stake, SocialiteLife points out.
Be that as it may, the bottom line remains that, whether dating or not, most fans would love to see Robert and Kristen make a couple in real life just like they do onscreen as Edward and Bella. Because of this, and mostly on account of the fact that reports about their dating are spreading fast, it is believed that either Rob or Kristen will issue a statement soon.
