Surely, fans must be aware that, until shooting for the third film in “The Twilight Saga” begins, British actor and heartthrob Robert Pattinson is working on the drama “Remember Me.” When he’s not getting mobbed by female fans who would do anything in their power to simply touch him, the actor is giving the new project his best shot, as an unnamed pal reveals for OK! Magazine.

Robert has always been known for being a lover of good time, in the sense that he’s often been spotted around town getting his party on with a couple of friends in a club or over drinks. Always the responsible one, though, and clearly bent on demonstrating that he knows to make the difference between being a celebrity and being an actor, Pattinson has almost shut the entire outside world out while he’s shooting for the film. Or, at least, that’s what the pal is telling the mag.

“He really isn’t a major partier. His work is very important to him and he doesn’t go out and get wasted. Now after the movie wraps up, that will be a different story!” the magazine writes, citing the anonymous friend. Moreover, other witnesses are saying, Robert is also doing his best to make sure his behavior and performance on set is beyond reproach, including rehearsing all the scenes beforehand and always being on time, OK! writes.

Clearly, Pattinson is miles apart from other young stars (mostly female) who hit the party circuit immediately after they get a hit movie or album out there, thus literally shattering all hopes they might have to ever be taken seriously. Often telling the media that he wants to be known more than just as Edward in the “Twilight” franchise and trying to explain fans that he’s still got a long way to go until he proves himself, Robert is also a responsible partygoer, as earlier reports have it.

In March, for instance, Pattinson became a genuine role model in terms of “don’t drink and drive.” “Last night a Celebuzz spy caught the vampire hottie at The Bar, a watering hole on the edge of Hollywood, Ca. ‘He was sharing champagne with his group, passing it freely to others in the bar,’ the source says of the actor, who also noted RPattz was in very good spirits and, naturally, looking ‘very hot.’” CeleBuzz was writing at the time, adding from the same source that, once he wanted to leave, the actor insisted that he be driven home by a designated driver.
