14 DAY TRIAL // Thanks to the incredible success of the first two installments of “The Twilight Saga” franchise, Robert Pattinson is now one of the hottest and most sought after actors on the scene. As such, it’s no wonder Jimmy Fallon’s parody act of “Robert Pattinson Is Bothered” is also very popular – and, just in time for Valentine’s Day, Fallon has just unveiled the latest thing to bother the British star, as Entertainment Weekly’s PopWatch can confirm.
It’s quite some time that Fallon debuted his “Bothered” segment on his show so making an episode especially for Valentine’s Day didn’t come as quite a shock. In the video, which again sees Fallon as Pattinson up in a tree, the world’s favorite vampire sets out on the honorable mission of dissecting each symbol of this love fest, from greeting cards with cartoon hearts, to drawings of Cupid and offering flowers and candy to the one you supposedly love.
“Jimmy Fallon put in another appearance as Robert Pattinson last night. This time, he’s bothered by Valentine’s Day. Not the movie. The actual holiday. The video takes its sweet time getting to the funny, but when he dissects the box of chocolates, I laughed. And the [hot] look at the end always gets me,” PopWatch writes. Indeed, the video builds up speed, culminating with “Pattinson” becoming truly bothered, especially when his imaginary lady friend, “played” by a blowup doll as usual, tells him she’d rather have jewelry instead of flowers and candy.
“The real Pattinson will be a guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on March 1, to help celebrate the show’s one-year anniversary. What do you hope Fallon asks Pattinson to do? A video about being bothered by the ‘Robert is Bothered’ series seems like a given. Beer pong doesn’t feel special enough. Pattinson is a musician, so perhaps a celebrity jam band?” PopWatch goes on to say. A video showing both stars as “bothered Robert Pattinson” would also seem like an excellent idea, word in the blogosphere has it.
