Earlier this year, “Twilight” actor Robert Pattinson expressed his wish to leave his acting career behind and focus on his singing, hoping to come out with an album soon. Of course, this was before he claimed that he was giving up on famous life altogether and before he started acting again.

Now, Sugar Scape is claiming that Robert is not only looking to release his debut album soon, but he plans to get some serious names to be featured on it. One of those famous names is Katy Perry, his longtime BFF.

Their friendship was so mediated by the tabloids that it was speculated on numerous occasions the two of them were having a secret romance, but both of them denied any such involvement. Now, a “friend” of Pattinson's claims that he's let it slip he was preparing to release his album and even “approached Katy about having her feature on the record.”

The two of them could have had enough time to talk about it, because last month they were spotted together at the Coachella Music Festival and just last night Robert was in the audience of Katy's London concert as part of her Prismatic World Tour.

Plans for his album seem to be well under way, as some tabloids have been able to even indicate the name of two of the songs, that are supposedly going to be about his time playing in the “Twilight” saga: they are going to be called “Never Think” and “Let Me Sign.”
