Robert Downey Jr. is known as of the most endearing and giving celebrities around. He might not have had this reputation from the start, but in the years he’s been clean and sober, he’s been doing his best to give something back to those less fortunate.

He is a big movie star and he certainly has the power and money to do that. The other day, he met Alex, “the most dapper 7-year-old” he ever had the chance to cross paths, who was born with a partially developed arm.

Alex also loves superheroes, so what better way to help him than to present him with his very own, “3D-printed bionic Iron Man arm,” as the actor describes it in a post accompanying the video of their meeting.

The arm was made possible thanks to a joint effort with Albert Manero, OneNote, and #CollectiveProject, with RDJ giving them a shoutout on social media, for the efforts towards making artificial limbs more accessible to families in need.

Before you head on to the video, one more thing: note how Alex isn’t just very dapper, he’s also very cool. Though he knows who the man in the nice suit is, he keeps his cool much better than even an adult could have, in the same situation. I might be speaking just for myself, though.

Here’s Alex and RDJ, who continues to show other celebrities the best use for fame.
