Robbie Williams reveals mock ad for own brand of pancake mix, "Uncle Robbie"

British singer Robbie Williams gives us a peek at his gourmet side with a very becoming picture of his own brand of pancake mix which he mockingly called “Uncle Robbie.”

Today, March 4 happens to be National Pancake Day and Robbie wanted to show his support to the culinary delight and that age-old breakfast dish with a photo that he posted to Twitter and that features the tongue-in-cheek product placement.

The tweet is titled “Who wants to flip some Uncle Robbie?” as the artist is featured in a small medallion on the mock box, looking dapper in the distance, one eyebrow slightly raised for the added look of seduction.

The “Uncle Robbie” original pancake mix looks very enticing, which is why it bears a large warning, right on the box which reads “Warning: Large doses may cause immense pleasure,” but also bears the addition of “No added ego” to any worried buyers.

For this clever ploy which will surely get a more than decent amount of headlines and well as raising awareness for National Pancake Day, Robbie Williams is hereby awarded a healthy dose of Internet, which he's clearly won.

Be on the lookout for Robbie's newest single “Shine My Shoes” which is supposed to drop later this month, as the third release from the “Swing Both Ways” album.
