14 DAY TRIAL // As a fan, I can’t but be happy that the release date of Robbie Williams’ new album is drawing near and I’m positive I’m not alone in this. Above is the official music video for the first single off the material, “Go Gentle.”
The album is called “Swings Both Ways” and will be out in November. Robbie envisioned it as a follow-up to his 2001 swing album, complete with covers of famous songs, new releases, and surprising duets.
“Go Gentle” will become available on November 11, precisely one week before the album goes on sale.
“I had some songs that I wanted the world to hear and check out and maybe become part of the fabric of their lives, if I'm lucky enough, that I've had a hand in writing. So it's very, very similar to the last one, and very different – and hopefully I'm off to romance the world,” Robbie said of the album.
Speaking of surprise duets, just some of the artists who have hit the studio with Robbie include Olly Murs, Michael Bubble, Lily Allen, and Kelly Clarkson.
