Following up on the initial success of its speed-dialing app, Easy Dials, Riverturn, Inc. has released a new iPhone application called VoiceCentral. The app uses Google Voice to offer easy access to voicemail via the service, while allowing users to place calls and send SMS messages.

The private technology firm that specializes in consulting and software development going by the name of Riverturn is headquartered in Durham, NC. The company reportedly has extensive experience in Enterprise Software. This has allowed Riverturn to play crucial roles in high visibility projects for the world’s leading companies, while its commitment to customer service is described as “obsessive.”

Immediately available for download via the iTunes App Store, VoiceCentral offers features such as the compatibility with either GrandCentral or Google Voice, voicemail retrieval, the ability to listen via Earpiece or Speaker, pause, rewind, or fast forward to any point in a message as it plays, the ability to create a new contact from the message info, secure storage for your auto-login password, the ability to view your call history or SMS conversations, and send SMS messages via your Google account, and the default VoiceCentral’s startup screen.

According to Riverturn, all these features will also work on the iPod touch, while VoiceCentral additionally supports four ways to place calls with your Google number displayed via caller ID. Those are lised below:

– Call back the person that left a message with a single click; – Place new calls using the built-in keypad dialer; – Browse your existing iPhone Contacts and select a number to dial; – Return missed or received calls directly from your call history.
