Last time anything official regarding the Brown-Rihanna story was heard, it was immediately after Chris’ first court hearing, when he asked for the arraignment to be pushed back until April 6. Since then, countless rumors have started circulating, but the one that is picked up by most music-oriented e-zines is that the duo is right now back in the studio, recording a track that will speak to the world about their undying love.

The duet, it has been said, will not only help clean Chris Brown’s much-sullied image and thus push him back into the good graces of the public, but it will also work as a very loud statement as regards the beautiful love story he shares with Rihanna. Despite everything, it has been added, the two young singers are still very much in love and will go to all lengths to show the entire world just that.

Sources in the music industry claim, citing others from the paparazzi agency TMZ, that the love duet will also be an integral part of the “media blitz” Brown and Rihanna’s PR teams are planning as a means of salvaging what is still left of Chris’ reputation. The song will prove to the world, according to spies, that the two are still very much together, very much in love and determined to overcome the February 8 incident.

“TMZ now has all the details about the secret late-night recording sessions between Rihanna and Chris Brown – and they were jam-packed with emotion and serious drama. […] The whole thing came together when they decided to reconcile shortly after the attack. Sources tell us music producer Polow Da Don convinced both Chris and Rihanna to get in the studio and record a love song stat, stressing that timing was important because the heightened emotions would translate powerfully into the music. Both Rihanna and Chris agreed and snuck in a couple of ‘late night’ sessions that we’re told were ‘very, very emotional... the feeling in the room was pure love.’”

The same sources claim that “The song was originally written for Rihanna before the fight, but after the beat down the producer believed the track – which ironically focuses on overcoming difficult challenges as a couple – would be the perfect duet.” No release date for the heart-wrenching duet has yet been set. However, keep an eye on this space and we’ll keep you up to date when (and if) this rumor checks out.
