14 DAY TRIAL // Chris Brown has the strongest defender he could ever wish for: a new report claims Rihanna herself reached out to country singer Miranda Lambert, warning her she should lay off her ex-boyfriend.
The feud started shortly after the Grammys 2012, when Lambert took to her Twitter to say she didn't believe Chris deserved a standing ovation at the awards show after he put Rihanna in the hospital in a fit of rage 3 years ago.
She also said that he wasn't even that good a performer, judging by his two shows on Grammys night.
She continued the attack, namedropping Brown in concert but, this time, he fought back.
Now Rihanna too is looking out for him, says the latest report from the print issue of the National Enquirer (story via here).
“Sources say Rihanna, 24, flew into a rage when she heard about Miranda’s tweets attacking [Chris],” the tabloid writes.
The same insiders, who don't reveal their name but promise they're reliable and well informed, claim that Rihanna did more than just become upset about it: she also took action.
“Rihanna got Miranda’s phone number from a mutual acquaintance. She told Miranda to worry about her own relationship because her husband is known for his wandering eye,” one such tipster dishes.
As the pop star dishes, if she's over what happened that night between herself and Chris, there's really no reason for Miranda to keep bringing it up.
Or, as that annoying saying goes, Rihanna wants Miranda to “get a life.”
“Rihanna has moved on since her relationship with Chris. She believes that if she can let it go, considering she was the victim, others need to move forward also,” the spy further says.
Indeed, Rihanna has moved on. Reports online claim that she's back with Chris, though not yet officially as a couple.
They have been “hooking up” regularly for months now, but nothing is set in stone as to the possibility of a full-on reconciliation. It could happen though, it is being said.
