If she's really dating Ashton Kutcher, Rihanna is not yet ready to talk about it, let alone during a press call to promote her feature film debut, “Battleship.” Video confirmation of that is below.

Rihanna, Taylor Kitsch and Brooklyn Decker were in London the other day to talk to the press about the film, which is described by movie buffs as a sort of “Transformers at sea.”

During the press call, one female reporter thought this might be a good place to ask Rihanna to clarify rumors about a romance with newly single Ashton Kutcher, the soon-to-be ex-husband of Demi Moore.

Perhaps even more infuriating for Rihanna than the question itself was the fact that the reporter first tried to butter her up a bit.

“Rihanna, this is a question for you. I have no doubt that all of your fans are coming to see this film. You know, you have so many,” Sarah, the reporter, started by saying.

“And you're so good with connecting with people that I think that we actually feel we know you. Things are clearly going brilliantly in your career. I just wondered if you are as happy in your private life. Will we be seeing a certain Mr. Kutcher perhaps making a trip over here?” she asked.

Rihanna's reply was as blunt as the question tried to be elaborate: “Wow, how disappointing was that question.”

She immediately turned her eyes from the reporter, and told the moderator they should “absolutely” move on to another question.

“I'm happy and I'm single, if that's what you're really asking,” she added, before she answered another journalist's question.

Given the media attention that Rihanna has been getting for her so-called romance with Kutcher, which is believed to have been going on for the past 8 weeks, it's no wonder she didn't want to bring it up right now, when she's promoting “Battleship.”

In one of her more recent interviews, the pop star revealed that she was very serious about acting, and was even considering other roles to work on this year, when she wouldn't be recording any new music.

Since she's determined to prove herself as a serious actress, or at least as a decent one with potential, it makes sense to avoid a question about her personal life at a promo event.
