Megan Fox is no longer the face and slender body of Armani. The fashion house has announced that, for the brand new campaign for Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans, it has decided to replace the former “Transformers” star with singer Rihanna.

The announcement came the other day, with Armani saying only that RiRi would appear in the following campaigns instead of Fox, AceShowbiz informs.

This most likely means that Megan remains the face of Armani Cosmetics, which is another campaign from the same brand that she fronts – or so, at least until further notice.

Rihanna will be “the new global testimonial for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans from autumn/winter 2011-12,” reads a statement from the fashion house.

“The ‘Only Girl (In the World)’ hitmaker has shot her ad campaign, which will launch worldwide in September, on location in New York,” AceShowbiz reports.

Presumably even before she was done with the shot, she took to Twitter to play a guessing game with her fans about the new endorsement deal.

“U would NEVER guess what I’m doing right now!!! Hint Hint #Armani,” Rihanna wrote.

Before Fox took over as the spokesperson for the two major Armani campaigns, they were fronted by David Beckham and Victoria Beckham.

Later on, David was replaced by Ronaldo, who received some criticism for the poses he tried to pull off and which, according to some, were not as natural and attractive as David’s.

Megan too has received her fair share of negative media attention in recent weeks, though this probably has nothing to do with her being replaced by Rihanna as the Armani girl.

For quite some time, the actress has been plagued by rumors of Botox and plastic surgery, together with accusations that she’s ruining her gorgeous face.

This, in turn, has prompted her to post on Facebook several candid shots of herself doing a range of facial expressions, under the headline “Things you can’t do with your face when you have Botox” (written all in caps), as we also reported at the time.
