Rihanna is Esquire’s hottest woman alive and, as if more confirmation was needed, she sizzles in the latest issue of the magazine in a very daring and quite unsuitable for work photospread. She also talks about Chris Brown with the mag.

As fans must already know, in February 2009, as they were coming back from a party, then-lovers Chris Brown and Rihanna got into a very nasty argument reportedly over texts from another woman found on his phone.

In a fit of rage, Brown lashed out at Rihanna and, as per the police report, beat her to a pulp. They broke up immediately after.

Now, the Barbadian stunner says that she has zero anger and zero resentment when it comes to Chris. If anything, she’s actually happy that he managed to come out of the scandal with his career intact.

“It’s incredible to see how he pulled out of it the way he did. Even when the world seemed like it was against him, you know? I really like the music he’s putting out,” Rihanna tells the magazine.

Brown fans – and music lovers in general – will recall that, the moment word of the assault got out in the press, voices were urging for a boycott of his music, saying he didn’t deserve a career in the spotlight after what he’d done.

Fortunately, Rihanna never thought that.

“I’m a fan of his stuff. I’ve always been a fan. Obviously, I had some resentment toward him for a while, for obvious reasons. But I’ve put that behind me,” she says of moving on.

“It was taking up too much of my time. It was too much anger. I’m really excited to see the breakthrough he’s had in his career. I would never wish anything horrible for him. Never. I never have,” Rihanna adds.

In the same Esquire interview, Rihanna talks about touring, her family and the latest wave of criticism she got for being too explicit and provocative in her music videos and live shows.
