Rihanna’s style has been dubbed chameleonic by fashion insiders – and her love of new hairdos also contributes heavily to this impression. To prove she’s always unpredictable, the singer has again changed her ‘do.

As fans must know – and as Grazia magazine also notes – in recent months, Rihanna has been rocking fire-engine red hair in various lengths.

First, she went for the short cut, with shaved sides. Then, as it grew out, she chose a swept ‘do, but still a short one.

Just recently, Rihanna seemed to have extensions put in, as she donned a longer and more feminine, ‘60s-inspired ‘do, accessorized with lots of bows, headbands and beads.

Before heading out to perform her brand new song “What’s My Name” at MTV’s The Seven, Rihanna was photographed with much longer and straighter hair, which means she got longer extensions put in.

“If there’s anyone Grazia Daily can rely on to pull out an unexpected new ‘do, it’s Rihanna,” Grazia writes. Indeed, Rihanna’s choices, both in terms of hair and of fashion, are always surprising.

“Her hair wardrobe of vibrant colors and fierce crops has inspired a whole bunch of copy cat cuts, so when we spied Ri-Ri performing in New York’s Times Square last night with super-duper long locks, we knew it’d only be a matter of time before we gave it a go ourselves (probably),” the magazine further notes.

“We’re just struggling to keep up with our favorite hair chameleon – it was only last week that the songstress was giving a side-swept fishtail plait a try, not to mention that Snookie-esque pouf and now lashings of red extensions. So whatever will be next?” the women’s publication also asks.

Of course, chances are Rihanna won’t keep the extensions for much longer and that she only got them for her performance. This could mean she may return to the short ‘do soon enough – only time will tell.
