The series have been designed for high-volume environments, as the Aficio MP 5500/MP 6500/MP 7500 Series provides fast print speeds, superior control and easy-to-use features, saving users time and money, according to the manufacturer.
The Aficio MP 5500/MP 6500/MP 7500 Series incorporates a display panel with larger, brighter type that enables job parameters to be rapidly selected, shortcut buttons and a Refined Print Command Stream (RPCS) that enables users to program a particular job process into a single icon in the driver.
With print speeds of 55 pages per minute (ppm), 65 ppm and 75 ppm, respectively, the Aficio MP 5500/MP 6500/MP 7500 Series provides users professional, high-quality, black and white prints. Furthermore, the Aficio MP 5500/MP 6500/MP 7500 Series is compatible with the StreamPunch III, a new product from GBC, which is an in-line interchangeable die set punching system for printing systems.
Aligning with Ricoh's dedicated environmental principles, the Aficio MP 5500/MP 6500/MP 7500 Series is ENERGY STAR qualified and features supply-saving functions including Quick Start-up (QSU) technology, power-saving sleep modes, toner recycling, low noise levels and minimal ozone emissions.
The Aficio MP 5500/MP 6500/MP 7500 Series has also several security features such as the optional DataOverwriteSecurity System (DOSS), which removes the latent images stored on the hard drive and, in the same time, confidential information can be protected with the Unauthorized Copy Control feature that shields such documents with an embedded message that appears if a document is copied.
The Aficio MP 5500 is already available at a suggested retail price of $17,000, the Aficio MP 6500 is available for $21,500 and the Aficio MP 7500 retails for $28,000.
