Repetition is the mother of success, Ricky Gervais seems to think. A few days ago, the comedian voiced his complaints against plans to set up a beagle breeding facility in Yorkshire. Shortly after, he once again spoke against this project.

This time, he urged his over 5.2 million Twitter followers (now this is what I call being popular) to sign an online petition demanding that this project not be given the green light.

As previously reported, Ricky Gervais does not approve of plans to build this breeding facility not because he thinks there are already too many beagles in the world and we might all die of cuteness overdose if others are born.

On the contrary, what bothers him is the fact that the pooches that will be bred at this center will later be shipped to laboratories and experimented on.

According to Look to the Stars, a final decision concerning this project is to be made this November 13. Here's hoping that Ricky Gervais and his fellow animal rights activists will have their way and the facility will not be built.
