New versions will retain the prices of their predecessors while providing better heat management

Cooler Master follows through on its slogan, “Innovation, speed and customer satisfaction.” Verily, despite the widespread skepticism that defines our age, the enterprise seems to genuinely pay heed to its customers' opinions, even revising its products when necessary. Following the release of the initial models of Cooler Master's Hyper TX3 and Hyper 212 cooling modules, the feedback from customers revealed ways to modify certain features in order to improve the overall usefulness of the coolers.

Based on the received criticism, several modifications were made in order to overall improve the products. The new models boast better cooling (obviously), through an improved design, and a much more comprehensive mounting mechanism for those users less versed in the area of hardware. The best part, however, is most likely the fact that these modifications were made without increasing the production costs. As such, the prices will remain $29.99 and $19.99 for the TX3 and 212, respectively.

The products can be distinguished through their new product numbers, RR-910-HTX3-G1 (for Hyper TX3) and RR-B10-212P-G1 (for Hyper 212). While the general composition of the devices was left the same, the two coolers underwent several design changes. Most notably, the channels that hold thermal paste have been removed (small gaps have been created between the CPU and the copper heatpipes because the heatpipes were nested too deep into the rest of the base). Previously, these channels gave way to the possible accumulation of thermal paste, which could insulate heat instead of conducting it.

Another modification was done to the fan-retention mechanism. Now, it is possible to use standard plastic snap on fan clips and the setting-up is more user friendly. This means that, even though a screwdriver will be necessary, the mounting process will be easier to understand for end users.

The package comes with a Blademaster fan, but the cooler itself features Brackets allowing for two fans to be mounted simultaneously.
