Developer Respawn Entertainment says that it has no plans to add any sort of microtransactions to its upcoming Titanfall, despite the current trend sweeping the video game industry.

Abbie Heppe, a community manager at the company, tells VideoGamer, "That’s not us."

Respawn Entertainment is at the moment working on putting the finishing touches on the core game experience and they have not decided whether they will add more content to it after launched.

Any sort of expansion, based around maps or classes, will be linked to a season pass or a one-time purchase.

Recently, Ryse: Son of Rome, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Battlefield 4 were revealed to include microtransactions that would not affect the competitive nature of the experiences.

Titanfall is set to be launched on the Xbox 360, the Xbox One, and the PC early in 2014.
