Apple resellers in the news

While some resellers die at the hand of Apple, other authorized merchants thrive thanks to support from the Cupertino-folks themselves. ifoAppleStore is reporting that an authorized Apple reseller in London is set to move into a new 3,200 square-foot facility early next year.

The site dealing exclusively with Apple retail news has also posted pictures of an “iStyle” store situated within Dubai's famous Mall. This is one of the few Apple resellers offering an experience almost identical to that of real Apple retail stores, from the glass facade to the meticulous staff support.

Mostly Digital (UK Reseller)

Mostly Digital is going to become the only authorized reseller of Apple products within a 120 mile radius, ifoAppleStore reveals. “Apple shoppers in London (Ont.) will receive a New Year’s gift when the local Mostly Digital authorized reseller moves into a new 3,200 square-foot facility next January, right in the middle of a territory with no Apple stores,” the report reads. According to the source, Mostly Digital has been operating as an Apple specialist since the mid '90s.

Most recently, the company felt it was high time for a face lift and decided “to upgrade the store to offer the largest selection of Apple gear in the region, along with in-house, on-site product service and repairs.” Mostly Digital hopes to replicate the look and feel of original Apple stores, even offering hands-on sessions with the products. The new store will even display products that Apple doesn't provide in its stores. Best of all, Mostly Digital will run non-stop (24-hour shopping) and has seven warehouses, which should ensure fast deliveries.

iStyle (Dubai Reseller)

While the above-mentioned reseller hopes to offer an experience close to that of a real Apple retail store, Dubai reseller iStyle has already done it, and with style too. “The store features a glass façade that is reminiscent of the Fifth Avenue (NYC) store cube, wood floors, wall graphics, and sidewall display tables,” another ifoAppleStore coverage reveals. Visitor Felix Kunze took some shots of the store and generously offered them up for public posting. The pictures are available below (courtesy of Felix Kunze).
