Mobile application developer Resco has just announced the availability of a new versions of its Resco Radio software, aimed at handsets running under Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 operating system.

The application comes with an attractive user interface, offers a list of 6000 radio stations, the choice of various musical genres, and other options as well.

“Our former users of Resco Radio who switched from Windows Mobile to one of the new popular mobile platforms may now continue to use the application,” said Marcel Šaffa, Resco’s product manager.

The Windows Phone 7 app comes with an UI characteristic to the platform's interface, Resco announced, adding that it managed to fully integrate the app into the WP7 Media Hub.

Unfortunately, due to the limitations of the platform, the app does not feature recording and scheduler functions, as it would normally do.

Some of the main features of the application include:

- User-friendly Interface – extremely easy to handle, attractive design - Wide List of Radio Stations Available on the Server – database of 4000 worldwide internet radio stations (support for mp3 streams) - User enabled Radio Stations Adding on the Server – all the radios inserted by the users are automatically sent for validation and shortly after the confirmation they are published on the server and maintained - Easy Adding of new Radios from the Server – choose a radio from a variety of categories and add them as favorites with just one tap on the screen - Display Lyrics of the Currently Played Song – powered by www.musixmatch.com - Alarm Clock – Let yourself be woken up by your favorite radio station - Integrated in Media Hub (WP7 version only) – the previously played streams are available in the Media Hub and can be automatically opened by Resco Radio The new mobile application was already published in the Windows Phone Marketplace, the company notes.
