14 DAY TRIAL // In addition to releasing a new Windows Phone 7 version of its Resco Radio, the mobile application developer has also announced the availability of a new version of its Android software, currently at version 1.2.0.
For those who might have not encountered the app before, we should note that the Resco Radio works both as a player and as a recorder, so that users can enjoy endless streaming of radio broadcasting.
“We are happy to announce the release of our first application for Android and Windows Phone 7.” said Marcel Šaffa, Resco’s product manager.
“Versions for iPhone and iPad are still being developed. I may assure our customers that we will do our best to bring more from our popular product portfolio to non Windows Mobile users”.
The Android flavor of the application comes as a true copy of the original software the company came up with for Microsoft's Windows Mobile OS, with UI elements preserved from one app to another.
According to the company, while they met certain barriers with porting the application to this mobile operating system, the process is now completed, and users can already download and enjoy it.
The company made available the first version of its Android application back in December, but has since further tested and enhanced it.
Resco Radio 1.20 for Android packs features like:
