The reality star complained constantly and fussed that no one look at her while shooting

It's safe to assume that the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Vogue cover is going to make headlines for at least one more month, simply because it was such a big deal and so many people took it as a slap in the face, as Kim smiled triumphantly from the arms of her fiancé, while clad in a designer wedding dress.

Star Magazine claims to have spoken with an insider from the photo shoot that went on in utter secrecy, as Kim confessed yesterday in an interview with Set Meyers on his Late Night talk show. According to that insider, Kim displayed a “diva” behavior throughout the entire shoot.

The first thing she allegedly did wrong was to “show up late” and then “had the nerve to make her own rules for everyone on set, demanding that no one stare at her.” This was supposedly done to help her focus on looking good for the camera, as she put on her Vogue face.

After it was rumored that Kanye literally chased after fashion editor Anna Wintour for well over a year to get Kim on the cover, the insider claims that when Anna wasn't within earshot, Kim flared her diva behavior even further and added “constant complaining” to the mix.

The conclusion was that “Kim behaved like someone who was in high demand when she actually had to beg for the cover.” This was because Wintour “would never allow a reality star to be on the cover” but made the “exception this time because Kanye agreed to be in the shots.”

Kanye West and Anna Wintour are known friends, as she admires his style and recognizes the impact he's had on the industry as a musician, but also as a designer for clothes and apparel.

Wintour herself has already taken to debunking the myths according to which Kanye chased her all over town to get Kim feature on the cover, claiming it even in the story published in Vogue, but there are still those that feel betrayed and believe that Anna has sold out the magazine when she relented to have the couple featured on the cover.

The “diva” behavior sounds suspicious at the moment, since, let's face it, if it were your life dream to appear in Vogue, you wouldn't be whining about it during the photo shoot. But since it's the only report from behind the scenes, we'll have to give it some consideration.

In her talk with Seth Meyers, Kim actually claimed that she was happy and honored to have participated in the shoot that landed her on the April Vogue cover. She pointed out that she was the first reality star to appear, Kanye was the first rapper and together they were the first interracial couple.

This darned cover has managed to cause quite an uproar, and, at the moment, people in the fashion business, celebrities and even regular Joes are taking sides and giving supporting arguments for being pro or con the “Kimye cover.”

While reports hinted at insiders at Vogue being mortified with the spread, regarding it as “lowbrow,” many women spoke in favor of this feature, considering a testament to Kim's success in today's popular culture that she finally got accepted by Vogue too.
