There are countless fans of the Oscar-winning actress out there who don’t even know where she was born or whether she was ever married, and that’s because this is one thespian who likes to keep out of the spotlight as much as possible. Renee Zellweger is often shy about discussing her personal life with the media, but, in the latest interview with Marie Claire magazine, no holds are barred on her love life and marriage plans.

Speaking with the popular women’s magazines, the reputed actress reveals that, even if her name does not appear in tabloids linked to that of some other actor or celebrity, that does not mean that she does not have a romantic side, or that she’s single. On the contrary, she says, her life couldn’t be greater than it is right now, even if a male presence is not there.

“The thing is, I’m away all the time. I suppose, if I sat still long enough to get to know somebody beyond a dinner date, maybe. But I don't feel like my life is empty or that I have to make something happen. I have projects to develop. I want to study American history and political science, live in an apartment in France, and fix my bad French.” the actress tells Marie Claire.

Whether she can accomplish all the objectives she has set for herself is not really an issue for Renee, as is whether she can find the time to do it all. “And is there really time for all of it? Last summer, when I said it wasn’t the right time for something I wanted to do, a friend asked, ‘How long are you going to live?’ I'm not single, I’m busy. That’s my line.” the actress explains.

Speaking of relationships and being single, in the same interview, Renee also opens up about marriage, saying that her past experience has taught her to never expect too much from life. Instead, she prefers to wait and see what it has in store for her, and thus also avoid a certain heartbreak. “I never say never about anything, because I look back on my own personal history and it shocks me. If I would ever have said, ‘Oh for sure this is going to be in my future,’ most of my experiences would not have been on my list. So, I don’t even bother thinking about it, because I’ve learned that there’s no anticipating that stuff.” Zellweger adds.

The latest Marie Claire issue, featuring more Q&As with Renee Zellweger, as well as more pics of the actress looking pinky and flirty, is now out on newsstands.
