14 DAY TRIAL // It's been a week since the Renee Zellweger new face scandal hit the media, and people are still wondering what happened to the actress that would change her appearance so much in such a short time. So, when the actress showed up around Mississippi without any makeup on, the paparazzi rushed to take her photo.
The result is that Renee looks as different without the makeup on, so it's really her face that has changed and not the way she uses lipstick and foundation. The actress left photographers stunned and clueless for a second as to who she was when she hit the red carpet at the Elle Style Awards last Monday.
Renee is still adamant she hasn't gotten any plastic surgeries
The 45-year-old dismissed allegations that she had gotten plastic surgery, crediting her changing looks to growing old and healthy living, as well as being happy. Plastic surgeons who've seen the photos beg to differ and have revealed that she had fillers and a blepharoplasty, which is basically a procedure in which the excess fat and skin are removed from around the eye.
That's why when the paparazzi spotted the actress running errands, they immediately quizzed her on her changing looks. The actress exploded, “Oh my God, you're going to ask me that question! Can you excuse me please? I have better things to do and I'm sure you do too.”
Understandably, she refused to talk any more about her new face that has left everyone baffled and has prompted some experts in the industry to claim that she might have made a big mistake altering her looks so drastically because she has effectively lost her trademark image in the process.
Doctors reveal the extensive facial work she's had done to alter her looks
Speaking to the Daily Mail, renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Randal Haworth gave his opinion on Renee's procedures and how they made her looks so different, “In my opinion, Renee underwent a blepharoplasty which entails removing the perceived excess amount of eyelid skin and fat from the area between the eyebrow and the upper eyelash.”
“Though the procedure was performed conservatively, it unveiled her eyes which were ‘hiding’ behind this drape of skin,” the doctor continues. He also mentioned that her small eyes were one of her trademarks, that went well with her quirky personality, but now she's changed that. He points out that that is not exactly a bad thing, it's just that Renee doesn't look like herself anymore.
