From what paparazzi shots seem to indicate, Renee Zellweger is now dating “Case 39” co-star Bradley Cooper, who, not long ago, was romantically linked to Jennifer Aniston. Speaking with CNN about her latest film, “My One and Only,” the Oscar-winning actress shares her take on how important good looks are in today’s industry, how much they’ve helped her along the way and seemingly takes a jab at Aniston.

Of course, Zellweger doesn’t drop any names (let alone in an interview with CNN) and keeps the diss very subtle (granted this is, indeed, a diss). However, most celebrity bloggers seem convinced that, when she says she did not have as much luck as other female stars who are considerably better looking, she is actually referring to Jennifer Aniston, an actress who always tops best looking, most beautiful women lists. Unlike Aniston, though, Zellweger has an Oscar for her heartwarming performance in “Cold Mountain.”

“Not in such an overt way.” Zellweger says when asked whether she has ever been judged on her looks like her character in “My One and Only.” “I’m not an actress who made her way based on physicality – I think quite the opposite, in fact. I sort of disappear a little bit, with respect to my looks. I’m lucky. I’m not a standout, kind of knockout kind of girl that, you know, it’s all about my great hair or something. But, in subtle ways, maybe. I mean, people presume to know you for something and respond to you accordingly, I’m sure.” the actress further adds.

As fans must know, one of Aniston’s most recognizable features is her gorgeous hair, her unmistakable ‘do even generating a genuine styling madness with The Rachel, the hairdo she had back in her “Friends” days. Given that they both dated Cooper and that Zellweger picked this particular thing to mention, like great hair, gossip bloggers choose to believe she’s actually taking a rather obvious swing at her “rival,” Aniston.

In the same interview, Renee reveals that beauty is somewhat of a curse for her, saying that she couldn’t possibly have lived back in ‘50s America, because of the emphasis society placed on looks, which is something that doesn’t happen all the time now. “I think back on Marilyn Monroe putting those lashes on everyday, and I can’t imagine, as I tie up my sneakers to go for a run. I cannot imagine that you’re supposed to simultaneously look beautiful while you’re going out to buy groceries. I just don’t know that it would fit well with my personality. I don’t know that I would succeed (laughs).” Zellweger tells CNN.
