BioWare has confirmed that this weekend is the last one when players of the Mass Effect 3 demo can try out its cooperative Galaxy at War mode, as it's going to be taken offline on Monday morning, ahead of the game's launch.

The Mass Effect 3 demo was a huge success, delivering not just two single-player missions that got people excited about its story, but also two levels for the game's cooperative Galaxy at War multiplayer mode.

Now, with the full version of Mass Effect 3 being scheduled to arrive next week, BioWare has confirmed that this is the last chance to try out the multiplayer mode before the game's release.

"We hope you’ve been having a great time with the multiplayer demo for Mass Effect 3. If you haven’t had an opportunity to try it out, don’t miss your chance: This weekend is the final weekend of the multiplayer preview and the servers will be taken offline on the morning (PST) of Monday, March 5. The single-player demo will continue to be available," BioWare revealed.

During this final weekend, the studio has increased the chances of unlocking rare race and class combinations, adjustment that will be carried over to the final version of the game.

While the Galaxy at War mode allows players to choose whatever class they want, only one specific race is available in each. As they level up their characters, they can buy equipment packs with in-game credits, which might give them access to new races in certain classes.

BioWare also advises players to check out the new Multiplayer page on the game's website, where several panoramic screenshot galleries were uploaded to introduce players to maps besides the ones featured in the demo.

Mass Effect 3 is out on March 6, in North America, and March 9, in Europe, on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
