IQ212 Games, a company based in San Francisco, announced the availability of Redneck Fishin', a new mobile game that invites you to go fishing the redneck way. This means that you will have to use dynamite in order to catch minnows, trout, bluegill, catfish, bass and various other fish.

During the game, you will try to help Randy and Brandi in saving their farm from being confiscated by the "tax man." With every fish you catch, you get more and more money, which allows you to "pay off the tax bill."

Besides being available for mobile phones, Redneck Fishin' will have a PC version too. Moreover, IQ212 says that the new game is also accessible via Facebook, allowing you to play anywhere (if you have an Internet connection). The Facebook game is said to be accessible at this address, but for the moment this doesn't seem to work.

Rick Marazzani, General Manager of iQ212 Games, stated about the new game, "Redneck Fishin' is a fun mobile experience with broad appeal that users will enjoy, replay, share, and talk about. Redneck Fishin' is the latest addition to iQ212's growing portfolio of fun, original, mass-market entertainment properties. We want to entertain the most people on the widest platforms, and Redneck Fishin' accomplishes that."

Hsiung Chen, iQ212 co-founder, also said, "Our goal was to create a game and build a franchise that was made for mobile, port to almost every device, and be addictingly fun. With broad consumer appeal and a strong brand name, Redneck Fishin' will not only delight and entertain mobile users, but the brand and gameplay translates perfectly to web and PC as well."

Distributed by Vivendi Games Mobile, Redneck Fishin' is said to be available as of now in North America, for the subscribers of AT&T, Verizon and Rogers. In the near future, other carriers will get the game too.
