If you're a Redditor, chances are that you already know that a Secret Santa online game kicks off every year for registered users, with thousands of members taking part in this game every single year.

Rachel, a 24-year-old girl who uses Reddit on a daily basis, got a Secret Santa gift from none other than Bill Gates, Microsoft's co-founder who's now pressured by some stakeholders to retire from the Redmond-based tech giant.

Even though you'd expect someone that rich to send pretty expensive gifts, Bill Gates preferred to stick to something that's a bit more useful for a 24-year-old girl. After all, we're talking about the man who struggles to eradicate polio and cure diseases across the world.

As Rachel writes in a post on Reddit, Bill Gates sent her a stuffed cow and a National Geographic book called “Journeys of a Lifetime.” But what's more impressive is that Gates himself has donated to Heifner International charity on behalf of Rachel.

The funny thing is that the 24-year-old actually had an iPad on her wishlist but, just as expected, she didn't get one. In fact, she didn't even get a Surface, which is probably the first thing you'd have in mind when it comes to gifts given by Microsoft's co-founder.

Here's what the girl posted on Reddit:

“All the presents I just tore open, the charity, then everything-- was from Bill GATES. I quickly went back to the book to see a really nice message and note from Bill wishing me a Merry Christmas and a Happy Birthday (not pictured, because I really want to keep one part of this gift to myself) my jaw hit the EVER LOVING FLOOR. I went back to all the other gifts completely shocked.

“My god. Never in my entire life did I imagine, ever, ever, ever that Bill would get me. I am SO SO thankful for the time, thought and energy he put into my gift, and especially thankful for him over nighting it.”

Looking forward to hearing from the one who had to get Bill Gates a gift. Buying a gift to the second richest man in the world should be quite a challenge.
