Instead of unveiling a completely new product, Aerocool decided it was time for one of its existing ones to expand its horizons, so it took the high-end RS-9 Devil Red mid-tower chassis, the latest member of the PGS-R series, and sent it to Europe.

Gaming chassis are built in such a way as to not only provide room for high-end hardware, but also provide the overall image of the system.

Basically, gamers often look for an enclosure capable of relaying the might of what lies inside of it to anyone that happens to lay their eyes on it.

The Red Devil may be coated black on the outside, but its inside is colored a striking bright shade of red, as can be seen on the official product page.

The product is a mid-tower that measures 443 x 200 x 476 mm, has a thickness of 0.6 mm and is built out of steel.

There are a total of nine 5.25-inch drive bays, where optical disk drives or certain accessories like fan controllers can be placed. Said optical drives can be added easily thanks to the tool-free construction.

Aerocool also implemented 3.5-inch adapters with anti-vibration rubber rings, to allow internal hard disk drives or solid state drives to be added.

There is, of course, an I/O panel as well, set on the top and outfitted with USB 2.0 ports, eSATA and audio connectors.

Another asset is the red LED-lit fan controller and the acrylic side-window, which allows one to peer inside it while also enabling the internal lights to reach the outside and, by extension, the eyes of onlookers.

Of course, the fan controller would be useless without actual fans, so the company threw in a pair of 120mm models (front and rear) with red LEDs of their own and a rotary speed of 1,500 RPM.

Finally, for consumers that need a higher cooling prowess, the enclosure has pre-drilled watercooling tubing.

European stores should be selling the Aerocool RS-9 Devil Red for 68 Euro.
