The previously announced Myths & Mavericks downloadable content pack for Red Dead Redemption has now received some fresh details about what exactly is included in the add-on, as well as a concrete release date for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

Red Dead Redemption was launched more than one year ago, but Rockstar, its developer and publisher, has been supporting the title with new content ever since, mostly for the multiplayer mode, but also with an all-new story-based add-on, in the form of Undead Nightmare.

Now, the presumably last piece of DLC, the Myths & Mavericks pack, is scheduled to arrive for the Western game, free, as a token of appreciation for the loyal fans of the game that keep the multiplayer mode extremely active.

"Myths and Mavericks will include a whole bunch of new fan-favorite multiplayer characters from the single-player story, as well as new multiplayer locations including Cochinay, Nekoti Rock and Beecher's Hope, plus new Stronghold games in Armadillo, Tumbleweed, and Chuparosa," Rockstar said.
