The latest Command & Conquer Battlecast has really teased the fans of the series with information about upcoming news that will give us "one more reason to cheer". Of course, the only game left to cheer about, having in mind that Tiberium and Kane's Wrath were no longer secrets, was Red Alert 3, a highly anticipated title in the beloved series of real RTS games.

The "mysterious date" announced on the C&C official website would be Valentine's Day, which is the 14th of February. It seems that is the exact time a Hungarian magazine, called PC Guru, will hit the news stands. Guess what? It has a big Red Alert 3 feature on the cover, which is all red and presents us to "reds" ready to strike. Still, since Hungarian is not a language we know much about, we had no idea if the magazine will come with some official, undeniable information or it is something similar with the hoax about Gears of War 2 in GamePro. Well, it seems that Red Alert 3 really is in the works!

The real proof comes with the April 2008 issue of PC Gamer magazine where you can read, in English, an "exclusive first look at Glorious Strategic Soviet Victory in Red Alert Universe", right under a huge Red Alert 3 cover title, along with a hot 'n sexy Russian chick that unfortunately holds in her hands an AK 47 instead of, I dunno, some heart shaped box of candies?

And, to further ensure its readers that it's no GoW2 joke, Chuck Osborn, Senior Executive Editor adds: "Well, drop that Hungarian-to-English dictionary, C&C fans! PC Gamer's April 2008 cover story (hitting newsstands on March 4th) will dish tons of exclusive dirt on the next chapter in the Red Alert series...and do it all in English, to boot!" And that's some sweet music for my ears!
