Flash storage solutions developers have been quite eager to fill the market with a variety of SSDs, even putting special effort into reaching a certain level of affordability. Still, even with so many new products out, the transition to such devices is not as fast as some companies, such as Lexar Media, may like. As such, the hardware maker decided it would help ease this transition by means of special product bundles. To be more specific, Lexar Media has begun to bundle RealSSD C300 models with SATA-to-USB cables and cloning software.

Mostly, these bundles are meant to increase the number of ways that the RealSSD can communicate with a PC. The cloning software and cable will also allow end-users to easily transfer e-mails, applications and operating systems to the storage device. Basically, this allows for the painless migration from a hard disk drive to a SSD, with the final goal being to achieve better boot and application load times.

“This new Crucial kit makes it as simple as connecting the SATA-to-USB cable to the RealSSD and the USB port on a notebook, running the cloning software, and swapping out the old drive with the new Crucial RealSSD,” states the official announcement.

"After pushing SSD performance to new levels with technical innovations, we turned our attention to simplifying the upgrade process for users. We succeeded in creating a convenient, start-to-finish solution," said Rob Wheadon, Lexar Media senior worldwide SSD product manager. "We're pleased to offer a solution that enables users to get their Crucial RealSSD C300 products up and running in three easy steps."

The Crucial RealSSD C300 Data Transfer Kit bundle is already available through select resellers and through the company's official website. As for pricing, the 64GB bundled costs $169.99, the 128GB model $419.99 and the 256GB version has a tag of $769.99.
