This fall, fights between huge creatures begin

Ever since I saw the new King Kong battling dinosaurs, I wanted to kick some dinosaur arse. I am sure the same statement is true when it comes to you and the stuff you'd like to beat the crap out of. Thankfully, since everything is possible in the games world (well... everything except the release of a new Duke Nukem game...) developers Climax Entertainment have decided to bring us the dinosaurs and let us battle and battle and battle.

Named Dinosaur King, the game will be released this September on the Nintendo DS handheld consoles and it will be, in essence, a role playing game (RPG). And you'll have to dig for dinosaurs, like a real archaeologist... However, the interesting "twists" (pure battles between dinosaurs) are those which matter most to us. Oh, and the story.

You'll take the lead of the D-Team (either as Max or Rex) and you'll start collecting over 70 dinosaurs in order to stop Dr. Z and his Alpha Gang who want to hunt down the dinosaurs and, of course, take over the world. In order to collect the dinosaurs (which, by the way, have unique special moves - totaling over 240), you'll have to travel to five continents and dig for fossils. Only then the real battle can start!

And that's when the RPG-like feel comes to play: the more battles you win, the more experience you gain and the more you can invest in the special attacks I've already told you about. The fights take place in full 3D arenas where you will have to be the master of the head-to-head battles if you want to enjoy the complete experience. And everything will be possible this September, when Climax releases Dinosaur King exclusively for the Nintendo DS.
