A new ebook reader application is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices, namely Readmill.

The application was designed to provide users with the possibility to enjoy both the reading and the sharing of ebooks.

“Readmill is a beautiful ebook reader that lets you read and share books. Try it and discover how great reading books on your phone can be. The best ebook reader is already in your pocket,” the app’s description reads.

The mobile client arrives on Android with the same experience that it was already delivering to iOS users out there. It is capable of storing user’s entire library, while also syncing it across devices.

On top of that, the app sports a new offline mode, which enables users to easily start and finish books without the need of an internet connection. The app will sync the reading as soon as a connection is available.

“In one simple step you can import any ePub file on your device to your library. If you already use another ebook app on your Android phone, this is an easy way to get started quickly with Readmill,” the company behind the app explains.

“The app will automatically recognize when you start reading a book. On the first page, select whether you want to share the book, then just swipe to start. It’s that simple.”

The application also offers access to free ebooks, while also enabling users to easily review them and share their thoughts with the entire Readmill community.

Readmill for Android was released with support for all devices running under Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and newer, and can already be found in both Google Play store and Amazon Appstore.

In the not too distant future, the application will receive updates with appealing new features, including highlighting, support for DRM, and PDF books, the company announced.
