One of the world’s biggest vendors of precision gaming accessories, Razer has announced that their Razer BlackWidow and Anansi keyboards are now available in standard Mac key layout.

Featuring the standard Mac layout with Command and Option keys, as well as a row of easily accessible media keys, the keyboards also include "Mac-Integrated software," according to Razer.

In other words, you need drivers to fully use these babies. As usual, Softpedia's got you covered.

The Razer BlackWidow, Razer BlackWidow Ultimate, and Razer Anansi keyboards are fully customizable and offer “absolute typing and gaming destruction.”

The flagship offering, Razer’s BlackWidow: Mac Edition keyboard has a full mechanical key architecture and provides a distinctive tactile feedback that simulates the experience and precision of performing a mouse click, the company said.

This, according to Razer, gives gamers an entirely new keyboard feel.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

The BlackWidow has optimized actuation force of 50g and an actuation point halfway down the full travel distance of 4mm, for fast response and accelerated actuation speed.

In addition to the programmable keys, it has 5 additional macro keys, and on-the-fly macro recording.

“For Mac gamers, your supreme gaming reign begins now with the Razer BlackWidow and the Razer Anansi.” said Robert “RazerGuy” Krakoff, president, Razer USA.

“Whether you’re after exceptional tactile feedback from your fast key presses, or dedicated keys for more MMO skills at your fingertips, these gaming keyboards for Mac deliver,” Krakoff added.

“As promised, we’ve been hard at work rolling out Mac support on all our products, whether with dedicated drivers or hardware changes, offering the same competitive edge for Mac gamers as their PC brethren,” said Krakoff.

You can order your own Razer Mac keyboard online from razerzone.com. Pricing starts at $79.99 for the standard Razer BlackWidow keyboard, with the Ultimate edition being priced at $129.99. The Razer Anansi: Mac Edition goes for $99.99.
