Some time has past since we've last heard anything from Razer, a company that specializes in providing gaming enthusiasts with best-in-class peripherals meant to enable a high-quality gaming experience. The company has just remembered its fans and has come up with two new products designed for gaming notebook users, looking to improve their gaming experience with a new high-performance mouse. Joining successful products such as the Lycosa keyboard or the Copperhead mouse, here come the new Razer Orochi and the Razer Kabuto, a Bluetooth laser gaming mouse and a sleek gaming mat.

“We live in a mobile society of gaming where powerful notebook gaming is a must. With all gamers in mind, the Razer Orochi and Kabuto provide the perfect portability to improve your gaming experience anywhere at any time.” says Robert “Razerguy” Krakoff, president of Razer. “Gaming should never be restricted to one area.”

Designed to provide support to gaming notebook users, the new Orochi mouse makes use of Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity technology and features dual-mode wired/wireless functionality. In addition, for increased performance in high-end gaming applications, the mouse has been featured with a 4000dpi Razer Precision 3G laser sensor, accompanied by the Razer Synapse On-board memory. The device is powered by two AA batteries that are said to provide a runtime of about 1-3 months, under normal usage.

The mouse also features a battery life indicator, seven fully programmable buttons and an ambidextrous design, making it available to a wider public.

Coming to accompany the new Bluetooth mouse, the Razer Kabuto is made out of a high-quality ultra-thin microfiber material and measures 280mm x 195mm x 1.2mm.

As for pricing and availability, the new mouse will be available worldwide starting this September for a price tag of US$79.99, or €79.99, while the Razer Kabuto gaming mat is slated for August availability and a price of US$19.99 or €19.99, in Europe.
