Owners of Windows Phone 8 smartphones can now download and install a new mobile game on their devices, namely Rayman Fiesta Run from Ubisoft.

The new title has started to roll out in various markets around the world, and should soon become available to all owners of devices powered by Microsoft’s platform, after being launched on Android and iOS a while ago.

The mobile game comes with improved visuals, offering more depth of field, which should result in greater immersion and improved lighting effects, WMPoweruser notes.

The game is expected to feature a price tag of around $1.99 (around €1.5) when available, and should also be compatible with handsets featuring only 512MB of RAM inside. However, there’s no telling on how soon users are able to grab it.

Rayman Fiesta Run promises 75 levels of fun, allowing users to control the hero while he bounces on sausages and makes his way through 4 new festive worlds.

There are 3 new epic bosses to beat, which will allow players to reach the dreaded Land of the Livid Dead Island. At the same time, they have to collect Lums to get awesome rewards and power-ups.

The game also promise a new set of powers for Rayman, namely slide, swim, and shrink on the fly, which add to the previously available ones: jump, fly, punch, and run up the walls. On top of that, there’s a Super Punch power waiting to be unleashed.

The levels can be played in a totally different way, and there are also new traps to be aware of. Moreover, players will meet even fiercer enemies that need to be defeated, and should also get ready for more great challenges, Ubisoft claims.

The game also allows users to share their activities and post achievements on Facebook, while also enabling them to follow their friends on the world map.
