The small form factor PC enclosure can be used as both a rack and a tower

PC cases don't often stand out from the crowd, at least not to a very great extent, which is why items like SilverStone's Raven Mini-ITX turn heads when they debut.

This newcomer really is unusual, made in such a way that it can become a rack or tower depending on room layout and user preference.

A PCI Express x16 riser allowed the graphics card to be installed along the plane of the motherboard.

Even so, there is enough space beneath it for a high-end, dual-slot, full-height graphics card, and a 240 x 120 mm radiator.

There is an optical drive bay too, of the slot-in type.

Speaking of drives, there are enough compartments for several 3.5-inch and/or 2.5-inch drives, and SilverStone even tossed in a small PSU, near the front.

Raven Mini-ITX should be officially released soon. Maybe then we'll know the ETA and price.
